Samsung has officially introduced its highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy Ring to the Indian market, adding to its lineup of wearable tech. The launch took place on Wednesday, shortly after reservations opened earlier this week with an initial deposit of ₹1,999.
This stylish fitness-focused ring is available in three sleek finishes: Titanium Black, Titanium Silver, and Titanium Gold. To cater to different users, it comes in nine different sizes. The Galaxy Ring starts at ₹38,999 and can be purchased through Samsung’s website, Amazon, Flipkart, and select retail outlets.
To help customers choose the right fit, Samsung offers a sizing kit before the final purchase. They’re also offering no-cost EMI plans starting at ₹1,625 per month for 24 months. Early buyers who purchase before October 18 will also receive a free 25W travel adapter as part of a special offer.
The Galaxy Ring stands out with its advanced health and wellness features, powered by Samsung Health and AI-driven tracking. It monitors key metrics like sleep patterns, energy levels, and respiratory rates using a three-sensor system: an optical bio-signal sensor, temperature sensor, and accelerometer. Users receive detailed health insights, including a Sleep Score and other wellness reports.
Despite its small size, the ring packs a punch with its long-lasting battery. The base model, size 5, weighs only 2.3 grams and is 7.0mm wide, while the larger size 13 model weighs 3 grams. The battery can last up to seven days on a single charge, and it comes with a clamshell charging case that has LED indicators to show charging status.
Durability is also a key feature. Made from titanium, the Galaxy Ring is IP68-rated, meaning it’s water-resistant up to 100 meters. Users can also interact with their connected Galaxy smartphones using gesture controls like a double pinch.
